I’ve talked about how I have been keeping track of grades before I put them in the grade-book each day in my previous post, but how do I keep up with students grades overall? Like all teachers, I do have to put grades into a computer system; specifically TEAMS for our school. I could keep up with each individual grade sheet that I use (see previous post), but that would still be a lot of little pieces of paper. I don’t know about you, but I trash, recycle, lose, and generally deal with so many pieces of paper that I’m drowning in it. I could purchase a grade planner, or a planner book, such as Erin Condren, to keep up with them. These planners are nice, but generally do not have the flexibility I am looking for or the ability to add or remove pages. So, what did I do? Well, I created my own of course! You can purchase them on my TPT store!
I have hand written names before, but this time I chose to type them out in pretty font before I printed them (names blurred to protect the students). I have the class that they are from on the top left and the dates or 6 weeks period on the top right. The grades section is done in color coding so I know what’s what. I use my favorite Paper Mate Flair pens for this.
